Where will the classes take place?

They will take place in hangar78 offices. They are located in Pianiga (Venice). There are there two different rooms:

– Operative room: 16 workstations fully equipped with all necessary tools.

– Academic room: 24 seats where you can attend to product demonstrations and presentations or lectures

Who can participate to you amateur courses?

Our amateur courses are addressed to food and cooking lovers that want discover some cooking tricks or learn new techniques but they have never worn a chef hat and they fell uncomfortable among pans and ingredients.

How does this kind of course work?

Amateur courses offered by Hangar78 cover different themes in order to satisfy every taste.Each class lasts 3-4 hours for up to 16 persons. This choice lets the hangar78 professional team to focus on each attendee creating a more engaging atmosphere. Each lesson ends with the tasting of what the attendees prepared during the course combined with a glass of wine thoroughly selected by our sommelier AIS (Italian Sommelier Association). Professional courses instead could consist in didactical practice, one-to-one or in group assisted by our chefs supporting by professional tools and lectures.

How does someone access to a professional course?

Our courses for professional and aspirant chefs are made for persons with particular qualifications, such as:

  • catering institute diploma
  • university graduation
  • working experience in food and cooking sector.

Which is the attendee target?

Our courses are attended by more than 2500 persons each year. Our audience is wide and heterogeneous:

  • people aged between 16 and 60.

  • 55% women and 45% men

  • professional (40%) and non-professional (60%)

How long have I to wait the answer for my request?

All requests sent to the customer service are processes in 24 working hours. This waiting time could be increased in case of an important amount of requests. The day of the cooking class, do I have bring something with me?

Nothing at all. Every raw material and equipment are included in the course cost. Each participant has its own fully equipped workstation that consists in a worktop, cooking vessels, an oven, a blast chiller and every necessary tools and ingredients, without forgetting the official Hangar78 apron.

If at the last minute I can show up at the class that I have booked, what does it happen?

If you can not participate at the last minute to a class that you have already bought you can not be refunded nor change with another appointment. For further informations concerning your right of withdrawal and/or the cancellation of a reservation, please check the regulation that you have signed.

Can I have a refund for a class?

The refund is possible only exercising the right of withdrawal provided for by the contract.

An attendee that can not participate and/or potential modification in the organization, don’t be considered in the right of withdrawal spectrum. For further informations please consult our guidelines.

Can I bring somebody with me as companion?

No you could not. For organisational reasons, no companion is allowed during the class. Each class has a limited number of participants.

Can children participate to an amateur course?

We organize specific course for adults and for children. For further information please consult the course catalogue where you can find which course is dedicated to children.

Will we eat what we will prepare during the course?

At the end of each course it is possible, if you wish, to taste what everyone has prepared.

Do you release an attendance certificate?

The participants of our amateur course will receive an attendance certificate that attests their participation.

Regarding the professional courses a certificate or a diploma will be deliver.
