Valentina Bartolozzi

Born in Arezzo, Tuscany on 1982.
“I think that I inherited my passion for cooking by my grandmother, and with her I spent a lot of time.
Despite my great passion for the culinary art, I went to university: first Law School in Siena then Psychology in Florence, but my true path was different. Just 8 exams before my graduation I quit everything and I started working for a catering company. After that I worked in several restaurants and in an important bar in my home town.
The first Michelin starred restaurant where I worked was “El Molin” located in Cavalese (Trento) where I learnt everything especially the discipline in the kitchen. Then I took my first steps at Alaimo’s House where I stayed for many years. Firstly I was an intern then Chef de partie in Venice; after that I was in charge of the kitchen at “Calandrino” and in the end the dream became true, Chef de partie at “Le Calandre”.
Later, my precious star arrived, my son Paolo and I hang up my kitchen apron for a period of time.
And now here I am; I make cooking show for Electrolux and AEG and I am a chef in Hangar78, with a journey dedicated to haute cuisine and fine food.
The right mix between my job (chef) and my passion (my son).
